Brian's work, Omniture, had it's annual 'company picnic' at Thanksgiving Point. Okay, 'company picnic' isn't the best description. It was a full blown carnival with food, clowns, rides, candy and fireworks. The best part of the whole thing was that every single thing at the carnival was free. For once in my life I was able to tell the kids that they could have anything they wanted. Taffy...sure, SnoCone...help yourself, Cotton Candy...be my guest. They ate so much junk food, they were still bouncing off the walls at 10 PM. The kids got their faces painted, had balloon flowers and swords, jumped on bouncy things and rode the ferris wheel. Despite how much I loathe Omniture for taking me away from my beloved California, I give them props for such a fun and amazing event.
