Halloween Is Not Cute

I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! It's my absolute favorite holiday. I love everything about it, from all the scary stuff on TV to the dressing up. My only problem with the holiday is all the cutesy stuff. Halloween isn't cute, it's scary. When else is it acceptable to put up bloody, gross decorations without people thinking you're crazy? I can put up a pumpkin wreath with Fall colors anytime, but I can't just stick a bloody zombie with glowing eyes in my front yard. But I digress. I'm teaching Kate and Jack the importance of scary Halloween and they are loving it! Jack calls every zombie, ghost, etc. he sees a 'funny guy'.
