Snow is cold, wet, uncomfortable and inconvenient. To top it all off, the kids love it and want to play in it. Because I'm a decent parent and won't let the kids go outside unsupervised, I had to go out into the snow with them. I don't have snow clothes and I have a stupid boot on my sprained foot. While the kids were cute and comfy, I had on Brian's snow pants and shoe. Seriously, this sucks so bad. Kate, Jack and Bob are ridiculously cute in the snow, but I miss California.

Kill Me Now!
I have always enjoyed the snow for the week or two that I'm in it at Christmastime. It's festive and pretty, and I always know I get to leave it behind for what Southern California considers winter. I NEVER thought I would have to live in the snow again. I hate the snow. Having lived in Utah for 7 years after high school, I knew it was coming. Even with a relatively mild Fall with temperatures well above normal, I knew it was coming. I was not (and am still not) prepared.

My heart goes out to my Family and Friends who are dealing with the throws of an early snow fall. Tiina and I just finished laying on a blanket in our backyard gazing up at the sun and the blue sky, feeling sunkissed and warm as we watched the beautiful clouds go by...

Suck it, Carson.
This looks fun and horrifying all in the same. Jack's "excited" face is a complete crack up. Love it.
As I said before, California misses you too. You're welcome to come stay with me until all the snow is melted. :D
I do not envy you - I am so sorry! But you're right! They do look pretty adorable in it!
It took me a LONG time to get to where I like the snow, and I still hate driving in it. Good luck!!
