Our Chinese Heritage

If you know my dad, you know how proud he is of his Asian looks. Obviously he's not Asian, but he so wishes he was. He proudly tells the story of how, during his high school's production of The King and I, he didn't have to wear any makeup to look the part. Needless to say, my dad loves everything Asian (his company is even called TransAsia), but there is definitely a special place in his heart for China. His best friend and business partner is Chinese and he makes frequent trips to China with my mom. Upon returning from these trips, my mom never fails to bring back amazing artwork and gorgeous clothing for Kate. As a special shout-out to my parents, here is a little photo shoot we did with the kids in their 'Really from China' Chinese PJ's.
