Rakastan Suomea!

I try to give the kids a little taste of their Finnish heritage, even though I don't have a lot of it myself. They are 1/4 Finnish, so they should be familiar with some Finnish stuff, including some basic words. They frequently ask for a keksi, (cookie or cracker) and they have awesome manners by saying kiitos and olkaa hyvä (thank you & you are welcome).

I got this Finland flag during the 2002 Olympics when Brian took me to see a Finland vs. US hockey game for our 1st anniversary. It was so incredibly cool and, for once, I got to cheer for the Finns!
