Creepy Doll

The other night, I went in the check on Kate before I went to sleep. She always has more 'friends' in her bed when I check on her than she did when she initially went down. But this time, I got a little emotional when I saw her with this selection:



The doll with brown hair is mine from when I was her age. The doll is scary. When I was 4, I took the doll into our playhouse, cut it's hair and did it's 'makeup'. Turns out the makeup was acrylic paint, and my mom had to use nail polish remover to get it off. As a result, the doll looks a little like Jonathan Coulton's Creepy Doll. It's good to know that someone still loves this doll...although I hope it doesn't creep into my room and stare at me late at night.
